This is how various dictionaries from all over the world define the word 'diva'. I would like to use this chance to add a new definition to any Oxford, American Heritage or Webster – or just here on deviantART.




♥ Danny Phantom fangirls are DIVAS. As Divine Irresistable Visionaries of Amazing Skills, we draw, write, and speak shyly of our innermost feelings which we hold tightly in our heart for this beloved hero. The feelings should not usually be summed up as just a strange little-girl crush on a fictional story-hero, when they are really dreams of romance and inspiration for them, thusly, I believe this can be a fitting summing-up as well because there is no purer or more inspiring love that can be found anywhere else than in a young girl's heart.



♥ The term 'diva' is often used as a derogatory insult for a talented yet arrogant and snobbish woman. Unfortunately, it only makes sense that the term 'fangirl' is derogatory, too. It's used for girls who get a little too obsessive over a guy and treat him more like a possession rather than someone to love and be inspired by. I don’t think this attitude is right, nor is it right for all of us girls to get categorized into that same outrageous mess.



♥ I created DIVAS as a place for girls like me who simply love Danny and want to be around other girls who do as well. DIVAS provides a safe sanctuary away from the constant, violent actions and harrassment voiced by anyone who may judge or misunderstand our completely healthy, harmless feelings.



♥ DIVAS is also proud to support the message of respecting Butch Hartman's wishes by not allowing any slash or mature/sexual material on this site.
